9 Months Old & Counting
Greetings...Cambria here. I am SO excited. I had a birthday on Friday. Yeap, I am nine months old. I sent Frank outside to traipse through the snow so I could grab a few moments to tell you how I am celebrating. First, I am having my first piece of string cheese and yogurt. Next, I am going to wave at myself and clap for my mommy. Then, I am going to beg like a dog (Frank taught me that new trick). Finally, I am going to unveil my nine month pictures to all my pals. My mom took me to have a few nine month birthday pics taken. Happy 2/3s to my first birthday to me. Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page so you can become a "Follower" of my Blog. Let's celebrate!

Officially Cast Free
Show Me Your Toothies!
Howdy folks. It has been a while since I last blogged. You see, we have had some wild weather back here in good ole' Ohio. One day it is way to frosty for a puppy to do anything and the next, high old silver...it is 60 degrees and I am out with the squirrels. My mom thinks that is good for me since I put on a little winter weight. Anyway, you are probably wondering what the kid is up to. Well, she has toothies. Two to be exact with two more on the way. She is SO excited about these toothies. She is whistling, blowing bubbles, etc. Anything to show off the pearly whites. Cambria, I know have you been waiting anxiously....show the people your toothies.

Harley & Me (well, Cambria)
Howdy folks. It was 39 degrees today. I was SO excited. The squirrels came out and so did Frank! It is supposed to get cold again so my peeps (mom, dad and Cambria) went to the Metro-park sans puppies to get some exercise. Rumor has it Harley and I are going to get a walk today. Yippee. (Martin...I bet you get a walk today, too.)
Anyway, the kid is getting bigger and bigger. She and I are starting to pal around. However, she has started to take a liking to Harley too. With her new highchair, she is right at the height of Harley's mouth. This is NOT good for the weenie. Harley and I are supposed to share whatever the kid is eating. That is not exactly happening. Usually I can trust that Harley is not so bright and thus the weenie wins out in the kid food department. Unfortunately, Cambria is dropping her cookies right in Harley's mouth. I am feeling a little left out.

Bubble Baby
Other than being a really naughty dog as my mom says, life in Ohio has been rather quite this week. We had a couple days where I stayed out longer than 30 seconds (it was 37 degrees) but now it is really, really cold again so I am busy finding things to do around the house. Mainly, stealing Cambria-baby's toys.
Cambria and I are great pals. I have been helping with her baths. Since she can have her cast off to take a bath, she is spending what seems like an eternity in the bath tub. When she gets out, I help my dad dry her off. I like to think of Cambria as a bubble baby because what's a great bath without bubbles.

Cast Away
Today was a BIG day for Cambria-baby. Yeap. Today was the day that Cambria-baby was to become a castaway or was it... have her cast go away. Anyway, the kid left after my morning nap and then came back...still with the cast. Confused, I was. I thought that I was finally going to have a partner in crime. Someone I could blame the little happenings that are "just happening" these days. Torn up stuffed dollies...torn up stuffed lambs...torn up stuffed bears...stuffing pulled from mom's duvet cover, etc. However, that was not the case. Nope. Cambria-baby did get the cast off for a spell but then mom was told, " She can have it off to eat and take a bath, otherwise, you need to use the cast (the one cut from her leg) as a brace. You just need to put an ace bandage around it to keep it in place". Looks like I am going to have to be good for at least the next few weeks or I am going to become the castaway.
Cardboard Boxes
It seems these days that every time I come downstairs after sleeping for a few hours...ok...maybe like all day...there is a cardboard box that has arrived at the front door.
A few days ago a box arrived for Cambria-baby. The next thing I know, my parents have pulled out a screw driver and an allen wrench and they are watching directions on the tv on how to put the thing in the box together. The end result, just one more thing for the kid. I have actually grow to like the "thing in the box". The kid sits in it and it is at a perfect height for the kid to hand Harley whatever she is eating for the day. What goes to Harley, goes to Frank. Thank goodness for cardboard boxes.

Lobster Claw
So...I know some of you already know but just in case you haven't heard, I broke my leg while I was in SoCal for Christmas. I took a tumble after I ate breakfast one day and ended up with a cast on my leg. Now, it hasn't stopped me and I only have to wear it for 3 weeks. Then I go to see Dr. Chip Munk (no joke...that's his name) to have it removed. I can't wait until next Wednesday when I will be cast free. Anyway, my mom and dad picked hot pink for the color so I kind of look like I have a lobster claw.

Feliz Navidad
Howdy folks, Cambria here. I know that it has been several days since Christmas but my mom is a little slow getting things done these days. But...since it is -7 outside, it seems that she has a little extra time on her hands. Check out the slide show from our wonderful Christmas and visit to my best bud, Andrew's house in Sacramento. Oh...and special shout out to my Auntie Nancy. She knit the stocking I am wearing on my head in a few pics...and my little booties that I am wearing on xmas day!
