Black 'n' White but in Color

Check me out, check me out! I am wearing one of my favorite outfits that my Auntie Jen got me. I am getting so big. So big that I pushed Frank out of the way to get to his blog. I am holding on to everything I can get my fingers on so that I can walk on my feet versus crawling on my knees. I may be wearing black and white but I am living in color. Peace out, Peanut.

Peek-A-Boo

Cambria here. Frank is in time out for eating my mom's last couch pillow. Anyway, I am starting to keep my parents running after me. I can stand on my own and pull up to walk. My newest trick is to stand up in my crib and peek out at everyone. If I get angry enough, I throw my binkie to the floor so my mom or dad have to come in and see me. I just call it a friendly game of peek-a-boo.

Exacting My Revenge

Well...it is starting to thaw in Ohio. However, it is not quite warm enough yet so I decided to exact my revenge on the over attention poured on the little one on the very last of my mom's couch pillows. Hey...if I can't get a squirrel, a couch pillow is the next best thing. Fluff anyone? (I have a little extra tucked away between my teeth).

Angel Baby

So...yesterday we had our first tornado alert.  Hard to believe that it is only the beginning of March and we are heading down to the basement for a tornado.  Mom and Dad did not exactly agree on the course of action for the tornado alert.  Mom wanted to go to the depths of the house while Dad thought it would be a good idea to go on with business as the tornado siren sounded and give Cambria-baby a bath.  To add to his rather silly approach to the whole situation, he decided to put the little one in her winged-angel jammies so "she could fly if the tornado came by our block".  You think he was making fun of mom?  I guess he has never lived through a tornado...has he.  I took cover under the bed covers...what else would you expect me to do?

Drenched Rat

Greetings from a bothered weenie.  Luckily, it is a bit sunny and kind of warm (44 degrees) in the great state of Ohio.  However, it has not been that way for long.  The weather here seems to be a bit manic these days.  My mom says I need to lose 5 lbs of winter weight but I told her...I will lose the weight when there is something to chase outside besides snow flurries.  To keep myself occupied I have been chasing the kid around the house.  She is crawling everywhere and I help keep her out of trouble.  Check-out the pics of the little rascal's most recent bath. Doesn't she look like Black Beard meets Drenched Rat?

Bye, Bye Birdie

This past weekend everyone headed to Pennsylvania, sans Frank.  Yeap...I got to hear about what a nice weekend everyone had while I got left home, again!  Anyway, I noticed this really cool stuffed bird in a picture.  I thought, I am sure it must be in one of the two extra large suitcases that are sitting in the hallway.  But no....no birdie.  Come to find out, the birdie got left in Pennsylvania because my mom and dad thought that if they brought the birdie home....and Frank met birdie....it would be BYE BYE BIRDIE.  I think they are on to me...don't you?

Love Bug

So...you may be wondering...what did the Fish Family do for Valentine's Day.  Well, first of all, they left the sad, lonely weenie dog at home to hang with Harley.  Even though it was snowing up a storm, the fam left the dog and headed over to a little event for kids with heart conditions called Mended Little Hearts.  All I know is that the kid was all the rage and was giving goo-goo eyes to all the young men who were there.  Plus, she is just completely attached to Dave...sometimes you would think mom doesn't even exist (maybe this is my chance to be her #1 baby again).

Meet Acorn

Howdy Folks.  It has been a while since I last posted.  The weather here has been a little crazy.  One day it is warm (40+) and raining outside and the next day it is 19 again and snowing.  Lately, I have been teaching the kid tons of new tricks.  She can bark like me now.  I also am teaching her how to play with acorns.  I figure if she is good at it and I am good at it we are bound to get a squirrel in the spring.  We started with the largest acorn I know...an acorn squash.  Luckily, the kid loves to eat them so they don't go to waste.
